The track order on the original LP and the first EMI CD are the same, all the other CD Versions have a different order. The positions of "Outside Now Again" and "Duprée's Paradise" are switched.
There is a variation of the title of the album on the editions, going from 'The Perfect Stranger' to 'Boulez Conducts Zappa: The Perfect Stranger'
The mix on the original album (The EMI CD) is different than the Barking Pumpkin (D2 74242) and Zappa Records (CDZAP 49) version, that new mix is also used on the remastered versions of 1995 and 2012.
The Synclavier patches used on 'The Girl in the Magnesium Dress' and 'Outside Now Again' are different! There are additional notes not heared in the 1984 version.
The remaster of 2012 is taken from the 1994 digital master.
